Some may say it’s a little silly, but Paddington has always been one of my favorite comfort movies. I’ve honestly always wanted to try one of Paddington’s famous marmalade sandwiches, so I turned that idea into a small passion project of my own. Inspired by the cozy charm of London and the warmth of the Brown family, I created a calm, classy marmalade brand that feels playful but still refined. I leaned into soft colors, handwritten typography, and simple packaging details to make the jars feel welcoming and nostalgic. Part of the process included experimenting with a wide range of hand drawn type styles to find something that felt personal, imperfect, and full of character, almost like something Paddington himself would proudly keep in his hat.
